BLUE DRAGONS DROP TOUGH ONE TO PLAINVILLE 5-4
It was the second tough loss in a row for the Middletown High School Baseball squad. Going against an outstanding Plainville pitcher it was slow going early and the Dragons struggled to get anything through the first four innings, while Plainville put five runs on the board.

Middletown made some noise in the top of the fifth, scoring four runs on an RBI from Jason Sinagra and a 3 RBI triple by Josh Strohm. Unfortunately, the Dragons were not able to generate any additional offense and were defeated 5-4.

Carlos Ruiz, turning in another strong effort, battled through six innings, holding the strong hitting Plainville team in check from the 4th inning on to keep Middletown in the game.
