BLUE DRAGONS LET ONE GET AWAY TO BRISTOL EASTERN
This was a game the Dragons will look back on as one that got away. In a seesaw battle, Bristol Eastern trailed 4-3 going into the seventh, but came through with four runs in the final inning to take the lead and held on for a 7-5 victory.

Middletown fell behind 1-0 in the 3rd but bounced back to take a 2-1 lead in the fourth on a 2 RBI double by Vincent Quintiliano down the third base line. Bristol Eastern tied the game in the bottom of the 5th before Strohm gave the lead back to the Dragons at 4-2 on a line drive 2 RBI double in the gap. Middletown would get one more run in the bottom of the seventh, but it would not be enough.

On the mound, Middletown (4-4), received a gutty pitching performance from Josh Strohm, who went 6 1/3 innings.
